Fantastic Wednesday Night Social with Live Music

The First Ever National's Forensic Ball!!!

You are invited to join us on Wednesday for an evening of English Country Dancing

The tournament is more than halfway over and the tension from competition is at a fever pitch. What better time to relax, make new friends, and renew past friendships from around the country.

This is a multigenerational, family friendly event designed to get everyone, young and old, moving to the sounds of English Country Dance music.

Everyone will have a fantastic time learning and participating in this wholesome form of dancing. These dances are primarily social mixers. This means you will be constantly meeting and greeting new partners throughout the dances.

No experience is required to have a great time. We will enjoy a number of different and unique dances. Each dance will be called throughout the dance by an instructor to keep everyone moving in the right direction. Each dance will be performed by demonstrators, and practiced by all, so that everyone can become proficient and have fun.

Wednesday, May 26th at 7:00 pm

Arrive on time! The Grand March begins the ball, and everyone is involved in this social introduction to the evening.

Breaks

Dress

  • Please dress modestly in Christian consideration for your brothers and sisters in the Lord. The goal is to look "nice," and to be modest.
  • Tournament Dress is not required, but is acceptable. Some of the dances are more vigorous, and suits may be limiting for your movement.
  • NO JEANS or T-SHIRTS or ATHLETIC SHOES.
  • Gentlemen: slacks (e.g. Dockers-type or khakis; they don't have to be suit slacks) and a collared shirt would look nice.
  • Ladies: consider a modest skirt and blouse or a modest dress. You may consider wearing a prom or formal-type dress, but please do not feel you need to make a special purchase for this event. There will be a variety of different styles of dress at the ball, from casual, nice dresses to formals.

Plan to enjoy dinner with family and friends "on your own," prior to the Ball.
